There are several Scottish Country Dance classes in San Francisco. All the classes have energetic dancing
and great music! No partners needed to attend any classes or parties, and you need not be Scottish to join
the fun. See San Francisco Class Listing for times and places.

RSCDS Memberships:
This year RSCDS membership renewals are NOT automatic due to the changes in membership types. If you wish to renew
your membership please fill out the membership form and send it in. Thanks!
Guest Teachers:
During the summer the class is taught by guest teachers. For a list of the teachers go to our
summer schedule page.
General Notes:
For the experienced dance class students:
Be prepared to dance five or more dances per evening. We want to retain our
friendly and cordial atmosphere; both students and teachers should show respect for one another by not
interrupting or talking when instruction is being given. Dancers support one another, criticism should be
positive and constuctive. Expect and demonstrate a higher level of fun in social dancing.
For all dance class students:
The price for walk-in students will be $8. Classes can be purchased in a series for $60 for 9 classes.
The summer session is 10 weeks for $65 to fit so it ends right before labor day.
The current series goes thru September 3, 2009. There is a separate fee for the Solstice Parties.
We have wonderful live music every week from our circle of class musicians.
The Noe Valley Class holds Solstice Parties two times per year.
The Winter Solstice Party will be held on December 17, 2009 at 7:45pm.
The Summer Solstice Party will be held on June 17, 2010 at 7:45pm.
If you are interested in what dances have been taught recently we keep a
